As one of the nations largest privately held mortgage companies, it is our goal to create a green and healthier workplace. Currently WCS Lending, LLC is working with lenders to advocate environmental friendly programs to reduce paper waste and energy demands in order to pursue green building projects, renewable energy purchases, and extensive recycling practices. By pursuing a wide range of initiatives that promote environmental responsibly and sustainable business practices, we help make it easy for our clients to continue their focus on staying green beyond their everyday personal efforts - all clients who do a mortgage with WCS Lending are guaranteed that their loan application will adhere to the strict standards of a company committed to working as green as possible.

Carbon Offsets
WCS purchases carbon offsets toward renewable energy projects to counterbalance our use of more traditional energy sources as a means to mitigate consumption
Paper Usage
WCS offers email as a means to complete loan applications as well as electronic signatures to reduce the amount of paper consumption; in addition, WCS recycles all paper products used throughout its offices
Transportation
WCS encourages our staff to use public transportation between home and work by offering a shuttle service at a discounted rate from our local train station to and from work to reduce fuel consumption and auto pollution
Electricity
WCS eliminates inefficient and unnecessary lighting by turning of all lights, computers and equipment at night; wherever possible, all lighting has been replaced with energy efficient LED bulbs
Plastics
WCS offers only recyclable beverages to its staff to foster the use of recycling
Utilities
WCS Lending, LLC is dedicated to using only materials and supplies which can be recycled; all styrofoam cups and plates have been replaced with plastic and paper goods in the staff cafeteria; bottled water options have all been replaced with purified-water stations
Repairs/Maintenance
WCS Lending, LLC uses Green Seal Certified cleaning chemicals, as well as low-cost recyclable paper towels
